David joins Sotheby’s International Realty Canada as a top selling Realtor and expert in luxury waterfront properties with 17 years of experience.
Over the past 40 years, David has enjoyed cottaging on one of Muskoka’s big three and he developed a strong passion for the Simcoe and Muskoka areas early on. He truly understands cottage properties, waterfronts and the lake systems. Inspired by his older siblings, David spent much of his youth out on the water boating and participating in watersports. His dedication soon paid off with sponsorships, national competitions, and shows; he even competed against the best athletes in the world at a professional level.
Starting his Real Estate journey, David attended the University of Guelph, graduating in 2006 with a Bachelor of Commerce focused on Real Estate Management. Soon after graduation, David’s attention turned to commercial Real Estate working as a Broker in the GTA with Colliers.
He spent eight years servicing clients in the GTA with emphasis on office and industrial facilities. He was quickly recruited by one of North America’s largest landowners to join their Acquisitions Team. David’s career accelerated swiftly as his team completed over 150 million dollars in land acquisitions across North America that same year. During his time there, David also managed a portfolio of 14,000 acres of development land here in Ontario.
Fast forward to the summer of 2014, Dave felt drawn back to his Muskoka roots and his family made the move to Muskoka permanently, living on Lake Rosseau and now residing on beautiful Lake Joseph. Leaving the development industry, David went on to become a top selling Agent in the Simcoe and Muskoka area;s his mastery of Muskoka and the lakes made this an easy transition. His accountability, commitment to customer service, honesty and professionalism makes him an easy choice for his Clientele and provides them with an easy, enjoyable and successful Real Estate experience. Dave works on the principle of putting his Client’s best interests first, affirming “I wouldn’t tell someone to buy a property I wouldn’t buy myself”.
Over the past eight years, David was an integral part in growing a small boutique brokerage in Muskoka. He has since stepped away from his position there to begin cultivating his own team. With careful consideration, he chose to join Sotheby’s International Realty Canada as the perfect Brokerage to grow his team. Jack joins Sotheby’s International Realty Canada, Port Carling with a love for Muskoka living and the Real Estate industry.
With deep family roots in Muskoka dating back over 150 years, Jack has acquired a vast knowledge of the area from spending his summers on Lake Rosseau and as a full time resident of Muskoka, currently residing in the beautiful town of Huntsville. Prior to attending University, Jack worked throughout Muskoka, including the Lakeside camp of Muskoka Woods for years as a member of the Waterfront team. Through this experience, Jack was able to further strengthen his understanding of the lake systems and sharpen his leadership and communication skills.
Graduating from Carleton University with a Bachelors in Business, Jack took his passion for statistics and commitment to professionalism to start his Real Estate career.
Over the past few years, Jack has worked full time with a top performing team at Harvey Kalles Muskoka, gaining exceptional experience in Simcoe and Muskoka Real Estate both in waterfront and residential properties. As a four year varsity athlete, Jack possesses strong dedication for being the best he can be, and brings forth that same dedication to his Buyers and Sellers. Jack’s disciplined nature allows him to be patient and honest with his clients and communicate with them in a kind and professional manner.
